Allen Mamombe: (Owner: Macows Haulage)
Allen Mamombe started MaCows Haulage in Zimbabwe as a sole trading family business owning one taxi a Toyota Hiace 16 seater. He assumed sole director- ship until 2006 when he moved to South Africa to pursue his engineering career. Whilst in South Africa he decided to partner Macows Haulage and Protocor Twenty two in order to cement MaCows Haulage position as a significant player in transportation industry. Allen is proud to have overseen the growth of Macows Haulage from a sole trading taxi business to a major transportation company operating a fleet of trucks.
Morne Van Zyl: (Member: Protocor Twenty Two)
Morne Van Zyl owns Protocor Twenty Two and partners in Macows Haulage. He has single handily managed the company from a financial turnover of a mere R1 million in 2000 to over R150 million in the last financial year. Morne has managed to form strategic partnerships with major players in the industry including Schneider, Volvo, Cummins, Cat, Perkins and Detroit. We are proud to have Morne in our team, he brings along the financial backing and technocratic know-how to meet the demands of the logistics industry and business.
Choice Mubvumbi: (Director of Operations)
Choice Mubvumbi worked at Barclays Bank of Southern Africa for 16 years. She then ventured into a successful faming business after retiring from Barclays Bank during the hyperinflation of Zimbabwe. Choice joined Macows Haulage in 2012 as director of operations she brings with her a wealth of experience and clientele in industry and trade from the Zimbabwe farming community.
Christine Tsiga: (Logistics Director)
Christine Tsiga joined Macows Haulage in 2006 as a logistics manager before joining us she worked as a Teacher and Cross border trader. Having travelled all over Southern Africa for the past 25 years, she has gained a wealth of experi- ence on all port entries . She has also overseen the growth of MaCows haulage in Zimbabwe from 2006 to date. Christine is always on hand to assist clients with answers to imports and export regulations across Southern Africa.
